Leeuwarden lineplay

First in a series of shots I took during a day-trip to Leeuwarden last week. This one was shot inside an art piece on the side walk, aiming up (and not being able to see the picture about to be taken). I like the asymmetry in this shot.

Float on

Here are a few of scores of people navigating along the city canals, standing on little boats. Bourtange chains

A visit to Bourtange (in the province of Groningen, near the German border) a few weeks ago yielded another chains shot for my blog. Camera: Nikon D7000 with Nikkor 18-300 mm lens handheld Aperture: f/9.0 Focal length: 38.0 mm Exposure time: 1/320 ISO speed: 400 Post-processing: Picasa 3.0
