Through the looking glass - Van Gogh


Maybe a once-off, maybe the first of a series. This is van Gogh's famous painting Wheatfield with crows (as seen on my laptop), photographed through the bottom of a whisky glass for a surreal effect.

Outside the classroom

One of many highlights of the Zuiderzee Museum Enkhuizen is the old village school. Outside the classroom was space for the children to leave their wooden shoes. A lovely sight. Jailhouse rocks

One of the highlights of the trip to Leeuwarden was our first visit to the old prison, which is now used as hotel and office space, while preserving many of the aspects of its original purpose.
